Further clarification for those of us that need it!

The 8:00 AM start time will be a shot gun start. In tournament terms that means all of the participants will be assigned a starting tee 1-18 and play the course from that point on until completing all 18 holes. At the start time everyone tees off on their individual hole location and begins play.

The format is a two person team scramble, the best shot is played off the tee ( as decided by the team)  and the team player plays the next shot from the selected best ball, every subsequent shot will also be determines in this manner until holed out.

Handicaps are not utilized, most casual golfers don't have a registered USGA or SCGA handicap and when they do verification of each players handicap creates issues.

Long Drive: The last two tournaments we didn't have any women participating. If that changes the plan is to have two additional Long Drive trophies. The Closest to the Pins will be an open category.

Event Fee: The cost is $150.00 per golfer which covers the green fees and cart and pre-tournament range balls. There may be a box lunch, but that hasn't been finalized to date.

Any additional sponsorship deals will consist of individual gift bags, which may be only tees and ball markers but could include any extras as they come into play.
